Should be a fantastic day today with highs in the upper 70s and a light southerly wind. The nice weather continues into the weekend for us until Saturday night when a cold front is expected to bring a rather stout line of severe storms. Rain is good though.

So after tornadoes, hail and all that other stuff that comes with a severe weather event, we had some very nice weather. Of course we're still transitioning to winter so the first freeze was just around the corner, and it will be realized this Saturday morning (lows in the low 30s, upper 20s). Highs will be in the 50s both Friday and Saturday. Temps will start climibing back next week but with another reinforcing front it does look like the 70s are going to be kept at bay for a while now...

The past week and a half or so has been a temperature roller coaster and this will continue for the next several days as well. High temps for five days beginning today: 79F, 80F, 65F, 55F, 49F. The 49F comes with rain, which is always welcome especially this time of year.

It's cold. 25° right now. Sunny, no chance of rain or snow, and windy. And cold.

A rather balmy December so far. The high today is around 65F, and high temps will be in the 50s and 60s for much of the week, except tomorrow, when the high temp in expected to be around 48F.

At some point though the Polar Express doors will open though putting us in the usual December Deep Freeze, and that might happen next week.

We also need precipitation rather urgently (preferably rain) but that is not showing up anytime soon and the drought is expanding.

Yesterday, highs in the 60s and 70s. Today, highs in the low-mid 30s.

Right now, 30F and light freezing rain/freezing drizzle. They did say winter was coming...

At the moment getting some very light snow with a temp around 20 F. I guess we're one of the "warmer" spots the next few days but this is too cold...

This will also likely be my last post in this weather thread for 2017. See you next year with the next weather update!

Forecast Fox is telling me it's supposed to be a low of 5° tonight. That's very cold. It's been cold for a while. A few days ago my mother went to go to work and the Tahoe's battery had to charge for four hours. My sister and her boyfriend were getting ready to take a load and start their next series of long-haul trucking, and the battery on their International was dead, so they missed a pretty big bonus. Maintain your batteries, folks.

COLD!
