It's been raining and cool all week. Today, it stayed in the low 30s and the frozen precipitation started falling down, covering everything pretty quickly. School's out tomorrow. :)

This morning I had to dig my truck out of the ice and snow. On the way home, I had to run the air conditioner. 30 to 60 in 8 hours.

Currently:

We had a high temperature of 71F today. Tomorrow: around 47F with NW winds from 20-30 with higher gusts. The local NWS forecast office has issued a wind advisory for our area. Whenever the NWS issues ANY kind of wind product for this area, you know it's going to be very windy.

Potential for severe weather exists today in the southern plains, we'll be on the western edge of the higher-end stuff. And uh, not sure why it says "mostly clear". Probably should read "partly cloudy" instead :P

The ArkLaTex, as its known appears to have the best chance of getting the higher-end stuff. If the warm front lifts back north more than expected though and things slow down a bit, might get interesting in our part of the world as well.

So far we've had average or slightly above average temps for December. No complaints here! Expecting 1.5-2 inches of rain on Wednesday, quite unusual for December, but we'll take it.

Pleasant here down under. Weather's been quite comfy for an Australian summer. Should be a good Xmas BBQ tomorrow.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Version 4 of the WeatherSTAR 4000 Emulator was released today. I installed it and ran it for the first time, looks great and is easier to configure. Of course I decided to take a SS!

A good chance of rain tomorrow (actually quite likely) with some severe weather possible down south in Texas. Then a chance of snow here on Saturday.
