? yes it does.

I know and it works but this method create a lot of double vertices, causing the file size to grow... anyway, since I'm going to be really exhausted, I'll go with it.
Think of it this way: If you can't do it just by having rounded and unrounded vertices, then it's better to have a file that's a little bigger than it is to have a plane full of shadows.

Just wondering, when you mark an edge as sharp in blender, it creates extra vertices? I though all that happened was when you marked them as sharp, all the shadows would disappear when the model is exported into a dnm.

No, extra vertices are created when splitting. Exporting in DNM without splitting has no effect on the final model...

Oh in that case, try http://www.yspilots.com/yspf/viewtopic. ... 038#p61657. Hopefully that makes a difference?

Oh, I paused this project for a while... I needed to get better in modding ;)

There's no reason not to go forward with it and use it as a learning experience: you can make more stuff in the future.

Actually, I am making other things (2 planes and 2 helicopters, 1 of them already released), I'm using them to set a solid base to come back on the MB339 and finish the job (that is almost complete...).
