Fail in textured mode

Post by Shiny Rice » Sat Sep 17, 2011 5:52 pm

I'm "decaling" (new word  ) when I get on painting the flag and I end... it's black!! I don't really get it.

This may sound like a stupid question, but did you get rid of the box that appears in blender when you open the start up screen? If you didn't, that may be why the text always seems to appear black. That happened to me when I first tried to use blender.

1. It's not the text. It's that flag i'm trying to paint.

2. Yes I did delete the box.

Do you have a problem with that mesh only or with ever mesh? Would you send me the blender file so I can give it a look?

You accidentally deleted the UVTexture. In Object mode, select the flag and, looking at the mesh frame in the button window, click on the button "New", just beside the "UVTexture" label. ;)
