YSUpload September Addon Challenge -- WIN STUFF

ATTENTION MODDERS:

In an effort to get more addons on YSUpload, I'm going to run a little competition... The September Addon Challenge (yep, The SAC... no comments, please).

Beginning September 01 (@ Midnight US Central Time), modders can upload their addons to YSUpload and tag them with the "Addon Challenge" Category. At the end of the month, September 30 (11:59pm US Central Time), the addon with the highest number of downloads (from a Unique IP, no cheating...) in September will be declared the winner.

The winning modder will receive:

-Their choice of This shirt, this shirt, this shirt, or this shirt in any size (women's also available). You could substitute this mug instead. The items are from my own CafePress shop. I'll ship it to you for free.
- A special "September Challenge Winner" badge image for use on their website, forum signature, etc.
- Display on the YSUpload home page for all of October
- Bragging Rights

[listbox=THE RULES]- You must be at least 13 years old, and must register an account at YSUpload. No exceptions. (you'll need the account to upload anyways)
- You must be in good standing on YSFHQ (basically, if you're banned, you're out... probationary members are in, at my discretion)
- ALL ADDONS UPLOADED MUST BE YOUR ORIGINAL WORK. Repaints, if done properly, are acceptable, but large "packs" that contain 1:1 copies of other people's stuff will not be tolerated.
- Addons must be properly tagged with the correct "Addon Challenge" category, otherwise they just won't be counted. Period.
- The addons can be old work -- you don't have to do anything "new" just for this contest... but they cannot already be on YSUpload. If they are, you need to contact me to reset their download count and change the category.
- Cheating the system in any way to inflate your download count is prohibited. I am monitoring where the downloads come from. I will know.
- Each modder is allowed up to five (5) addons in the challenge, unless there are more than 100 addons total, at which point this limit will be removed.
- Any addon removed from the site for a verified TOS violation during the contest period will be disqualified.
- I reserve the right to modify these rules at any time up until the start of the contest, and reserve the right to cancel the contest AT ANY POINT before or during the month of September.[/listbox]
Now, because the contest is based on the total downloads in a certain timeframe, I strongly suggest that you get them uploaded on the first day! The "Addon Challenge" category tag won't be made available until the start date, so don't bother with it until then.

GOOD LUCK!

As long as you did the repainting, I see no problem with it.

I guess it depends on how much you edit. If the majority of it is your own work, that's fine.

You upload that, it's a no contest.

My computer's trashed so I think I'm out of the competition.

You guys, are getting one badass super epic amazing fuck you map you've ever seen in ys "PERIOD" >. That being said, you will receive this in exchange for one of those items I haven't figured out which one yet. BUT they all are pretty awesome and I'd love to wear it around campus because, it's an aeronautical school and people will get a kick out of it.

You are allowed to upload things you've made before, too... so don't totally count yourself out! :D

P.S. -- I'm adding a new prize option... a 35x21in "Fathead"-style wall print of the Badass Mother Fokker F-100 image (it's a big poster that sticks to, then easily removes from, any wall or surface -- but I'm not responsible if it doesn't come off...). I don't have a link yet, CafePress is processing it right now.

I guess I should mention... if this goes well, I'll do it more often... maybe every 3 months or so (otherwise, it could get expensive!)

I don't have any mod that particularly looks good and I don't have a backup of my 777 which was half-way done. If my computer get's fixed, I'm back in this competition.

I WANT DAT MUG

MWAHAHAHAHA! I've just got the secret weapon for this competition.
I've been developing my first original detailed scenery of a small airport in the U.K., and I'm trying to follow Styk's style using minimal ground objects, numerous detailed PC2's, and lots of elevation grids. So far development has been about 4 months so far, mainly because I've been busy building websites, and also because the scenery is going to be awesome. Of course, hopefully wingzfan approves (probation member thing, you wouldn't understand :D ).

Still a WIP

EDIT:

SHE'S DONE!...just one little 'Boeing 777' on the nose.

Now I'm going to make more PIA planes. At least 4 or 5 and then I'll make it a pack and put it in for the competition.

This sounds interesting Fanjet, which airport are you building?
