Like... 1 more year? I don't see how things will lighten up in the short term, with promotional exams and also 'A' Level exams.
I also tend to OCD a lot, so if I spot a mistake I'll probably spend ages trying to correct it.

NightRaven wrote:[post]90461[/post] Hah. I'm using a 2.0GHz i7 which can overclock to 2.6GHz. I don't intend to OC it as yet though.
But you will never experience flying in YS at 8 FPS like I did with my old computer.
an i7 is a multi-core cpu. the Athlon 64 3800+ is a single core cpu. and i have played on some maps where my frame rate has gotten as low as 3.5fps

I've tried YS over VNC though. Best is 1 FPS on phone though that is understandable.
Exams coming right up, so I'm trying to cut back down on modding. But it hasn't stopped me completely. I've done 2 Russian missiles for the MiG-33 and possible future side projects: the R-73 and the R-77.
A treat for the R-77: before firing the grilles are folded but in flight they deploy.
The grilles were really a pain: I spent an hour or two just trying to get the proportions right to have the crisscross pattern, and I had to figure how to make it fold inwards. But it was all worth the effort.
More to come.

Where did you get that detailed T-50 PAK FA?
BTW, the missiles look awesome

It's from the SAP pack I believe. You should get it. Comes along with an unpainted version of the Pak Fa, plus a plethora of highly detailed aircraft.
And dem bright orange missile flames though.

Looking good, as always NR (Just please don't overclock a laptop cpu, please -_- the cooling is terrible unless you have a custom laptop case)

A (not so) new product rolls off the production line over in the small shed stationed at the 49th homebase for the first time in a long while.
Yes, I'm restarting the HQPGAC MiGs with new experience gained from making my MiG-33 and MiG 1.44.
These will largely be final for the blank MiG-29A, and I intend to make the major variants of the Fulcrum for the HQPGAC pack. As you can see the panel lines have been revised from the 29K, and has new gear doors.

Well, it's great to be back into modding and tinkering that little bulb hanging from the roof of my shed. But role play aside, I have been very busy with real life things since I released
my Flatpack. Internal exams were over a few weeks ago, but this week and the next are going to be more hectic than ever (2 major exams in 2 weeks). I would have to be presenting about the project me and my group has been working on for the past year next Monday. It has been really busy trying to prepare for it, but I've tried squeezing modding time as breaks. I've worked minimally on most of my projects, so don't expect much from me very soon.
The current plan for the MiG-33 is to put in D.O.E.'s cockpit and make it compatible, as I think the COFFIN systems are pretty much the same among most AC3 planes (aka I'm too lazy).
I do intend on redo-ing the entire line of DC-10s once I am done with all the MiGs. It is currently still a stagnant project with many, many unsightly patches here and there, so I think it is best to start afresh (and also some Chinese essay I read as a comprehension passage kinda motivated me to do this).
After that, maybe a Pe-2? Or a new GAF-1? Or maybe even a YR-99 (I do have Dision's mesh)?

30 Oct
I've given the 29A more powerful lights.
And outfitted it with a new cockpit.
Plus, after a brief 3 hours in the paintshop, Poland can into plaen:

After much procrastination, a few Fulcrum-Cs have been churned out.
Product 9-13, MiG-29S.
Product 9-17, MiG-29SMT. New glass cockpit and refueling probe.
After this, I plan to move on to the UB, UBT, M, M2, K and KUB variants. Shouldn't be too hard...

procrastination much
The M, UB and UBT have been completed. Note the M's dogtooth elevators and lack of LERX louvres.
5th MiG-29M prototype.
Hungarian MiG-29UB. Note the fake cockpit on the bottom side of the nose.
2nd MiG-29UBT prototype.
From here I will be using the GAC MiG-35 airframe for the K, KUB and M2 (which is technically already a 35). The 9-31 airframe in the current HQPGAC pack has been abandoned IRL, so I will be making the Indian MiG-29K/UB, with the modernised airframes.

26 Nov
holidays much.
Outfitted (finally) with a new cockpit. With that, the MiG-33 is pretty much complete, aside from a collision and dat tweaks:
I am also currently making the MiG-35 play nice with the panel lines and other reused meshes adapted from the previous MiG-29 variants.
Also figured I should finally get this project off the ground once more...

YSFan We have a few A320's already. U2fly, why would you need to test someone else's addon? Normally that privilege is left to the modder themself after all their hardwork they put into it.

the DC-10 will be back!
yet,it also one of the reason why I didn't release my Malaysian Airliners pack for....
EDIT:did you still have the CN-235 cockpit panels with you?
I already finished the Indonesian Airtech version previously based on DD's CN-235 that I get from tigershark's YSFlight Addons FB Group (yet I didn't feel to release it for some more improvements on the model)
