In need of GAC Engine Models

Post by Venom »

Could someone make or does someone have 3 separate engine models in blender that are GAC quality? Basically like the engine separated from the aircraft.

What sort of engines are you talking about? Jumbo-jet? Fighter turbofans? A Rolls Royce Merlin?

Dude, few things you need to know.

1: Don't BUMP topics, we don't like double posting! Especially when it's been a little over 24 hours since you last posted. You've been a member long enough ot know this is like sin number uno.

2: Show us a bloody picture what you're looking for... We're not mind readers... The more information you give us the better. It not only helps the person considering you're request have a better idea what you're looking for but it shows that you've actually taken the time to put some thought and research into your request.

3: POST A BLOODY PICTURE.

I didn't think I would need a picture because what I am trying to say should be very easy to understand.

But I want this in GAC form. Image

Pretty much just grey cylinders with exhaust tips on the end.

just to re-iterate Vandal's point, based on your first post, I would have taken the engine pod from a 737 and given it to you...not what you were thinking about was it? ;)

Just remember Vandal's points and that the more you give, the more you will get from those who fill the request.

Well the fact that you had TWO peoples ask you TWO different questions before we kinda got to what you WANTED. So it seems to me that your DEMAND wasn't soo bloody easy to understand.

So before you continue to treat what I've said as if it was coming from an inveigled take this bit of advice.

1: Follow the rules of the forum. IT'S EASY.
2: Download Blender and the required scripts and make if your god damn self. IT'S EASY. "Pretty much just grey cylinders with exhaust tips on the end." If that's pretty much it when you should be able to pretty much do it yourself.

Why do you have an attitude? I ask a simple damn request and you get all worked up over 1 messed up rule. Ok I get it, don't bump. Jesus fucking christ. And I'd do it myself but I assumed someone already had what I am looking for or could just make it really quick if they were good with blender. Not to mention that blender has a very steep learning curve which I could never get the hang of, even WITH all of the tutorials and what not on this forum. But you know what? I've learned my lesson about asking you people for stuff.

Oh wow. This went downhill quickly...
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

The one thing you should always do before making a request is to make sure that your request doesn't already exist. (It happens more than you think)
An excellent search tool for any aircraft or scenery would be http://ysfinder.net/

When making an Aircraft request
Do:
- Post a (3 view) image of an airplane Example (Doing this will tremendously help the person whom made decide to create your aircraft)
- Post specs of the aircraft such as take off speed, cursing speed, fuel consumption, etc.

Do not:
- Post a deadline for your request
- Put down one sentence in your request and expect someone to make it for you.
- Request for an entire fleet of aircraft, (making an aircraft is a very time consuming process and takes even the most experienced modders several weeks to make one aircraft from scratch)
