How to create folding wings

I would like to be able to create folding wings on a F/A-18C, but I dont know how, could somebody please explain to me?

You cut a straight line across the wings and then make the ends separate .srf's. Then you reattach the wingtips and set them as one of the moving objects, such as bomb bay doors or thrust vectoring.

Alright so I had cut (K) across the wings, but I forgot how to separate and make .srfs, I'm assuming that they just become .srfs once you separate them, and then I just animate them in DNMViewer. I also forgot to state that I am using blender if that helps

There is not a specific animation slot for folding wings, but something like thrust vectoring might be a good idea.

you separate meshes in blender by selecting what you want to remove from one mesh (in edit mode) and press "p". Blender automatically assumes that each object (you are creating a new one when pressing "p") is it's own srf when you export.
