I have been perusing the various tutorials here. I was able to export the dnm, but somehow lost the shadow and the pylons.

Oh, well, it was practice, so I have a better shot of getting everything right next time!

Is that a bomber or an air superiority fighter? Look's epic.

I looked at it this morning. it really needs a lot more done to it. not only did you not blend thee F-4 body into the F-14 body, you left holes visible from beneath. The cutouts where the engine nozzles of the F-4 go are still plainly visible as is the F-4's tail cone and wing roots.

on the plus side, its at least symmetrical, and the plane isnt a terrible idea. you just need to put more work into it

If you look at the Swallow below, you'll see that I don't just take stuff i dotn want off and block any holes. I place the parts in plce with some room to spare and add new polygons to make the parts run together.

I would be impressed if you could replicate that giant meteorological stirring hill that resides next to the airport. You almost can't have a map of that place without it. Not only is it an icon there, but it's a main source of most of what goes on there meteorologically as I pointed out before. So what if you don't know how to make elevation grids yet (not saying you don't but some research and trial would be a good start). I say make that and your map is a true upgrade. Not dictating your methods but just calling for a little twist and improvement in your work, as well as craftsmanship.

Looking real good! :D

trying to work my way through shrink wrapping camo and It just isn't working quite right. I think I've tried 10 different times, but I'm learning more with each attempt!

I fail miserably everytime I try to do curved lines in Blender. That's why I'm limited to stripes :/

I'm posting here because I haven't found my WIP topic.
So, after reading about the September modding competition, I decided I would retake my AIA-1, but I can't make it in time for the competition. But I am going to finish it, this month or the next one, I'll see about that. Here are two pics, the scheme is a prototype one.

I only have to do the .dat, animations and some more moving surfaces.

Edit: and it will include some features in the present version of YSflight, such as independent weapons. I've already included Dragon's flares, which are far better than standard.

That plane looks good. Interesting cockpit position. Why not paint it blue all over the rest of the body?

Well, I already said that it's the prototype scheme, and I'm kepping that one. And that pink cockpit is not what I originally had in mind, does someone know why that happens? Whenever I try to paint it, it always stays like that.
Edit: Whoooee! First time in-game! But obivously it needs some fixes.
