What is the opinion of this font? I imagine the 50s as a simpler time when people took the time to say things without so many abbreviations.

I wasn't happy with the blue paint behind the cockpit on the Super Constellation, so I reworked it.

The font looks just right Pat.But if I could make a suggestion increase the size of the logo on the Connie's tail by about 25% hopefully not encroaching on the control surfaces.

I moved it a little lower and was able to increase the size to 135% of what you saw in that picture.

Also, I've started work on TF58's GAC DC-3. I'm going to add moving parts. I liked this model best because it was smoother and more refined than the others, even though I've got to cut out my own parts.

Does the DC-3 have flaps? I have the ailerons, rudder, and elevators cut out. The logo on the tail is fixed to the rudder.

The font I used was Agency FB. Soon we will be able to fly like it's 1959.

Nope. Not a clue. haha

Are the flaps just panels that hang down from the underside of the wings?

Oh no you don't get away that easy Pat.Well maybe you do just a normal pivoting action off the main wing. But don't forget the reversing props. ;)

I would remove the paint in the engines but that's just my opinion. It just looks more similar to the old air planes that the fuselage is painted. Atleast in my recollection.

Pat - I believe that the DC3 has flaps that are on the underside of the wing. If you would like, my grandfather flew the DC3 for Eastern Airlines back in the day... I could call him and ask him about some of its behaviors and characteristics.

So....
I've recently got back from a 4 month stint in the Falkland Islands with the RAF, and i had a fair bit of spare time on my hands, and well, i think i put it to reasonable use...

The Concorde is a brush up of the Oranleed pack models, tops out at 6mb a piece. Tsr2 was revisited with a similar level of enthusiasm, and i also converted it into a 'What-if' Eagle GR1, as it may have appeared had it entered service. Still working on the paints for those to compile a small pack. As for the typhoons, it was another all or nothing project. I have at least 2 examples from every squadron the typhoon has flown in with the RAF to date, complimented with a full weapons suite that can be chopped and changed at ones pleasure.

I'll release the lot soon enough, just need to go over a couple of things in my pack and get it into some sort of order :)

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

I looked through pictures of DC-3s and found a few with painted engines, so it was done. That was the one thing I wanted to keep from the main NCA fleet, that the engines are painted. Looking back, though, I might change it. We'll see. I've got a long way to go before I will be ready to release the new pack. I still have to go back and replace the Bush Frontiers Cub with my new version with moving parts, too.

I found some pictures that showed the workings of the flaps pretty well. I made the ailerons just a little too long, but not too bad I hope. I might go back and change them, or I might not. It depends.
