Swift, that's looking pretty good. It looks like Beechcraft is getting more representation. :)

I started on the Beechcraft Baron 58. I reused the engines I made for the Piper Seneca V, only shrunk a little. I went ahead and added lights. Next will be cutting out and animating control surfaces.

Looks like we will have to make a Beechcraft Pack soon!

PS: Beechcraft 1900 needs doing if anyone is interested... PAVA model rather low quality. Would love to see a better one.

Daniel sent me his model a few years ago, but I never did anything with it. I might work on it like I did his Seneca, SR-22, and Caravan.

=============

Gunny pointed out that the landing lights should be part of the engine nacelles, so I made that change. I also cut out and animated the control surfaces. Next up will be improvements to the landing gear and interior with transparent windows. Also, whatever other suggestions I am given from those who have any to give. ;)

@ Pat those top nacelle intakes are on turbo versions. But if you are going to do a turbo version you will also need a four paddled full reversing prop :D

I'm pretty sure minor changes like intake locations and turbo/no turbo versions are more about keeping designers and engineers busy and employed than anything else.

I might make a few different engine setups. It looks like some have the top intake and wing-mounted landing lights, top intake and landing lights built into the engine cowling, side intake with lights on the engine cowling, and a variety of cowling shapes.

This G58 has the top intake with engine-mounted lights and three-blade prop.

Yep the BE58 has had so many variations and conversions over the years, that many configurations are possible.

@Coop - That's a good lookin map! Can't wait to roll around in it. Also, how are the frame rates with those enormous G.O. files?

Can you guess where this is? It's my next project since Gallatin/Bozeman is complete. May take a little longer since it needs a lot of detail.

Is it Chicago? Cuz I saw a building that ressembles the Willis Tower. Nice work, btw.

Best Regards

Siding with Abel. I mean, Willis Tower's shape is extremely iconic to me and Chicago. I've actually been in the Skybox twice ;)

All I can say is, there better be a YS Air & Water Show if that's released

Yep that is definitely Chicago. Aside from the Willis (formerly Sears) Tower, you can also see the Amoco building (now the AON Center), the Smurfit-Stone Building (diamond-shaped slanted roof) and both, One and Two Prudential Plaza. I'm guessing the John Hancock Tower is not yet done? I guess we can call Airbourne the "official ground object guru" of YSFS. :D

Great work Airbourne! Brings back my Chicago trip in 2003. And yes, I did get to see the Air and Water Show. :D

Btw, in case anyone wants to see the skyline labelled with all the prominent structures, here you go.

CAN WE WHISPER AND YELL?

Original YF-23 model was from the CEP pack, but I totally reshaped it according to the YF-23's blueprint's, pretty much an entirely new model at this point. Anyhow, did this one up for the VFA-131 as a sort of a special land based reserve aircraft.

What is it? It's purple. :)

My Baron 58 is coming along. I got the main gear put together. I opened the gear doors for this shot, but the inside doors close back once the gear is deployed. The wheels roll on the ground. Next up will be the nose gear
