@Gunny, i think i have seen it before too. But i can't quiet remember where i have seen it.
Btw, these models do fly. The R-501 Rhincodon is a heavy transport plane, and the R-701 Triakis is a high tech attack helicopter.

The first paint of the Hawker 400 is finished. This shows a little of the flaps and spoiler. I cut the stripes on the engines pretty much randomly and got pretty close. I might do a couple more paints before I release it. Then I'll turn to the stock U125 (BAe 125).

Trying my dang hardest to get this to work but it DOESN'T show up in YS Scenery Editor. I need to send this to someone enable to fix it

what seems to be the problem? I notice you have the camera and light source. That might interrupt the srf output. Verify that you have it inserted properly (with the dat file) in your ysflight directory. Sometimes things don't appear in scenery editor but will appear in YSFlight. did you test it there?

Does a tag appear for them in scenery editor, but the mesh doesn't appear? I've had that happen.

Nothing shows up in the ground object selection as the name I have given the object. So it doesn't show up at all.

In the scenery editor, make sure you go "option" -> "option" -> "browse". Then browse to the FS installation where you have that ground object installed. Double click fsmaino.exe. Click "OK". See if that fixes it. Also, did you check the ground_(name).lst is made properly?

I know the reason why.

On my old comp, I had a certain version of gepolyo where for some reason ground objects would appear when I lay them down. Then when I exited out and ran it up again, the tag was there but the model wasn't. But my damn super computer got destroyed by my bros while I was at college. However, I did have my laptop which ran decently well. I finally got back into YSF and downloaded some paint kit which had everything from gepolyo to perl scripts (which work! :D ). Ever since I used that version, every (new) model showed up in YSFSE.

I am making a bigger pack of ground objects, a little on the medium-realism side so I can have more objects and less lag. And it is including an announcing truck/stand. My Geneva AFB map (I found it!) is funning at 18-20fps..... opposing...............64.... :(

I never thought about it being the version of gepolyo that made them not appear when the scenery editor is reloaded.

ok i have update iceman stands a bit more.
the blank green spot there because I got no one to sponcer me. The sponcer can be anything like a ysflight display team, new car racing team, motor gp, combat sqn and airliners

Very nice looking! Those could be very useful for any type of YS Car racing. Keep that up! :)

Seriously, does anybody know how to fix those glitches and transparency objects? Why is the burner cap transparent now? That's the real thing that stands out more than the others so I need to fix that first.

I can't help with Blender. It may be as simple as reordering the srf's. I know how I would fix it, it would require exploding the .dnm, changing each .srf's transparency in gepolyx, then reinserting each of them back into the .dnm with makednm and notepad.


My ambulance is getting closer to complete. The front tires move left or right with the "rudder" keys for steering. I need to add "AMBULANCE" text, flashing lights, headlights, and taillights. I also plan to make a San Andreas paint, which means plugging in the old PS2 to get a good look at one.

I might as well spoil this one for all of ya, since I already released that one YS Talons pack.

Since the T-38 is seriously uncontrollable, I've been thinking of a different plane to use still in the genre of Trainer and two seated aircraft. After countless paints and aircraft to choose from, I got this idea =)
