Mikoyan-Gurevich E2A

The Ye-2 and Ye-2A were prototypes in the Mig-21 development project. The bureau decided to build two prototypes with two different configurations: a swept wing prototype and a delta winged prototype that eventually became the Mig-21. Initially there was little to choose between the two, although the Mig-21 became the choice for production as it was faster.

You can read the story here: http://ram-home.com/ram-old/ye-2.html

It would be interesting to speculate if the E2 was chosen for production what a present day update version would look like. Performance would be similar to the Mig-21.

This is a work in progress.. I intend to add a transparent canopy with the newly discovered (for me) ZA settings, and a pilot figure.

Update:

Installed in YSFlight: Using the ZA values for the transparent canopy (first colored blue and identified by the C 0 0 255 values) at the relevant section in the .dnm file made the canopy transparent with a blue tint.

For reference, the ZA values are:

ZA 0 200 1 200 2 200 3 200 4 200 5 200 6 200 7 200 8 200 9 200 10 200 11 200

Problems: The original model needed to be turned to the right, doing so made the model point backwards on the runway. Also the plane is too small again, so I have to work out the scale.

Next is the retractable landing gear - I need to refresh my memory: identify the .srf and animate using some settings...

Scania P310 Foam Tender 4X4.

The scania are the new addon to the ARFF Pack. Thanks to Alim because he provide the scania cab to me.
i still dont consider yet to release all of this as one single pack or separate. theres more to do including american fire engine/ladder/rescue. The scania will have more variant including ladder, mobile command, hazmat tender. While the Rosenbauer Panther and Oshkosh Striker already done just need to repaint.

*once again ,all of this doesnt have any cockpit/interior but the water turret ,lights are functioning.

Work so far on the Scania P310,CP28 ,Metz 64m Turntable Ladder.
The only thing left is the front basket and a fully funtional animation.
so far the animation for the ladder using Rosenbauer Panther turret which cannot rotate 360 ,ladder cant fully go up . the ladder cannot be extend and same goes to the basket when it will attach to the ladder. Already try get some help with other modder to make the animation but might get some time to done it.

Thats how high it can go so far. not fully up.

This Scania P310,CP28 ,Metz 64m Turntable Ladder base on real thing the,London Fire Brigade LFB Scania next gen,Magirus 64M Turntable ladder.

That is pretty wild. Are you using a turret animation for the ladder?

tq! and yes . For now im using the water jet/nozzle turret animation from previous Rosenbauer panther that i make. im not really good at making the animation .i just know how to copy and merge animation from other addon. while waiting for other modder,Hornet,to help making the animation,i try to learn a bit myself from your video on youtube right now on how to make animation. but i dont know how far can i learn.

here the guide how i wish ladder can be operate.
1.stabilizer leg can just appear by pressing bomb bay door / press 1
2.front basket can be down and retract by pressing page up/page down
3. ladder can go way up by pressing elavator up and down.
4.ladder can rotate 360(if can) by pressing alieron left & right
5. the ladder can extend by pressing flap down and retract back pressing flap up. since flap have level of 25%,50%,75% and 100% ,so i make the ladder only can go up to 4 stage/level.

to really understand how it works..here the link how the ladder being operate by LFB

Hello,

I'm back, although it will be a brief visit. I wanted to share this project on the forum. It's an update to my original Fokker F-28, but the model is made from scratch.

I've been working on this slowly. I'm making a 3D cockpit for it, with a decent amount of details. Have done all the animations, except for the rear spoiler.

Not sure how I'm going to pass it from this blender version into a dnm, but I will work something out.

You can always export as an OBJ and do the rest of the work in blender 2.49. Works for me at least.
