I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Apparently Gnoss Field (Marin County) is known for the runway being perpendicular to the wind.

I really wish I had been adding taxi lines since I started. It's not a whole lot of work to add them while making the airport, but I don't look forward to adding them to existing ones. I wasn't planning on doing many airports for this map, but now I see at least three or four more in the area I want to add.

I didn't like the results of my attempt to make a rooftop helipad from elevation grids, so I made a ground object.

Tonight I made and added Moffett Federal Airfield. The large Hangar 1 (on the left) was used for airships.

EDIT: For the record, the reason I've tripple posted is because I tried to edit the previous post and attach the image, but the image would not attach.

EDIT2: Now it works...
This is the Sutro Tower. It turns out that a lot of the things I'm making for this map will probably find their way into the YSSA map when I update some time in the future.

No pics yet, but back working on some Birdfarm blanks. Coloring them in Notepad, as before. So far I've a Su-50 PAK-FA in a disruptive grey. That's very loosely, (some smaller area shapes) based on the real thing. Image
Fliped out of the arena, again! :(

Uh, I think this might make the San Francisco and Guam_to_SoCal-2015 maps incompatible with some older versions of YSF. 8-)

Having to re-do this, as I lost it when I had to re-set. Thought I'd saved it to my memory stick, but had not. :x

Guam_to_SoCal is coming along well. I've added my Tokyo map and San Francisco map. I still need to add some taxi lines to the airports in Russia and Japan and finish up those in LAX. LAX had a major update with a more realistic terminal area with jetways and terminal start positions replacing the old parked positions.

^Are you going to add either of the following - the center taxiway that was opened on the south side between RWYs 7L/R-25L/R back in 2012 or so, and Terminal 8 and the new TBIT?

Looks great, coming along nicely.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

No worries if you can't do any of them, I realize they are updates that will take moving stuff around, especially the center taxiway and the new TBIT. Just was curious :). If you are going to add the center taxiway on the south side though, you'll have to refer to Google Maps since the airport actually demolished the existing runway 7R-25L and built a new one 55 feet south of the old one, then added the taxiway. The new TBIT concourse will also require moving some taxiways around etc. Be glad to help in anyway I can including providing images should you go for it.

I'm well on my way to getting all of that done already. I need to add the jetways to the TBIT. The runway already lines up with my google earth screenshot, so I can't explain that. I have deleted most of the taxiways on the south side of the airport and already replaced half of them or more.

For Guam to SoCal, I decided to give the bridge a little bit of closure at the ends.
