Hello there VIPR, Welcome to the HQ. innit.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Again, why people doesn't do Typhoons from other countries? You know, 4 countries made the plane, not just UK. I know, I tried to repaint them, but I was too busy with school and such. And I can't retake it now, I have other projects going on.

Been messing around with dats. Using the COCKPITP, COCKPITA, INSTPANL, ISPNLHUD, ISPNLPOS lines I've managed to place a camera behind the plane, with some bonuses. Now the problem so far with flying using a view from the rear was that you either had no hud, or you had a hud that went everywhere over the plane and basically it looked god awful. With this, I'm able to be behind my plane, access the POV hat views, not have the hud on top of everything, and still have access to user name circles, relative speed, the gunsight & missile sight, radar and maybe some other things. (I have yet to try VOR and subwindows).

Basically, it's like a little slice of ace combat in your ys.

Update: VOR's don't show, but you can use subwindows.

That is freaking sweet shutter!

That's been my one turn-off from having the HUD on full time. Coincidentally it also brought me back into in-cockpit flying :D

Are you gonna post a quick tutorial or something, or are we poor lowlifes gonna have to figure it out for ourselves? We bask in the awesomeness of your discovery.

I hope you are excited.
Just a small preview, should have this released maybe tomorrow, need to add a few things.
Maybe toy with a .ysf file to go along with the map.
Quick Update....
Scenery editor crashed, thus lost my files so I get to do it all over! (That is a good thing though)

Waspe, that looks fantastic - the colours are really nice.

It looks like Pago Pago Airport in American Samoa, I believe it was used during the Apollo program - with the astronauts from splashdowns in the Pacific Ocean being flown to the airport via Helicopter.

A winnar is you.

I'm aiming for Helgoland style detail, >90% of all buildings. The mountains will be tricky, and it's roughly three times the workload. The map will be a lagfest, but at least it'll look fairly nice...

Revamped the runway for my Waddington map today, also added some surrounding scenery such as roads, rivers and lakes.
