being able to anticipate shading issues has allowed me to safely add more detail. as you can see there's some shading issues around the wing exhaust, as expected :D .

yeah, i wouldn't have kept going if this project hadn't turned out to be popular  . Finally relented when i got fed up with the engine nozzles so i went ahead and slapped a nozzle from DOE's Su-35 along with the afterburner just cuz it looks so awesome. got all the doors and bays done for the landing gear and weapons. all i really need now is a cockpit so i might take one from the F/A-58 Spectre which i've been itching to use for a long time. pretty proud of myself knowing the only things that won't be mine are the landing gear, cockpit, nozzle and obviously the pilot. i'd say the tail too but that's more of a modification of the SAP PAK-FA i was working on. now it's just a matter of combing through for any little errors and adding details here and there.

took the time to actually shape the canopy instead of just using extrude and scaling, pretty happy with the result so far.

This plane is pretty much complete, aside from an odd shadow issue on the center display which only seems to work when it wants.
