DNM to SRF

Hello again,

I've been trying to get into creating and editing objects in hopes of one day making my own ground objects and eventually planes but I ran into an issue. If i have an aircraft that I want to make a ground object and add it to a carrier as part of the carrier model, I'm assuming I would need that aircraft .SRF file. If I only have the DNM of the plane and no SRF model of the plane, is there a way to convert the DNM to a SRF? I read the tutorials but I couldn't find anything...any help would be much appreciated.

I know of two ways to do this:

1) Use the Pearl Scripts. I've wrote up a tutorial on installing these, and one of the scripts is Dnm2Srf.

2) Merge all objects in a dnm together in blender, then export as srf.

Flake is correct that those are the two ways to do this...May I ask why you wish to do so?

That worked like a charm Flake! Much appreciated I totally missed that. I just can't figure out how to stop the propellers from rotating.

Decaff, just trying to test out making aircraft into ground objects

Stopping the props is a 30-second fix. Find the prop, set it to CLA 0, and you're done.

dnmtosrf.pl doesn't require Blender. I think it's in the YSF tool kit. ;)
