[MISSIONS] Integrated weather missions

Post by waspe414 »

Two .ysf files, one landing practice, one basic flight. Preset weather changes defined in the first part of the file.

B767 at Heathrow:
Changing wind and visibility, with text updates every two minutes for a full ten minutes

F-16C Landing Practice:
250ft overcast, 2 mile visibility, winds gusting 7-13 kts. A hard landing to do properly

Cool, would you write a little tutorial on how to put weather into mission files (YSF)?

I learnt how to by looking at the pirates attack mission. it's as easy as copy paste and edit the parameters in both time and the variables of the effect. ;)
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Hey, Waspe, any chance you can update the download links? They quit working.

Actually I don't even have my YS files here. If I remember, I'll reupload when I'm back at school, though it'll definitely be quicker just to make new ones.

Here they are. The theory could be put into practice better, but it's an example.
