[PROGRAM] YS Ping

Post by Omni » Sun Apr 15, 2012 11:59 pm

Seeing as for the past ~2 days I haven't been able to get the serverlist to show up I went and made a small program to test out the servers. All you do is make a folder on your desktop called "YSPing" and extract the archive into that folder. The list of servers to check are held in a '.txt' file included in the archive, one server per line. Any and all criticism is welcome, enjoy.

Can you make a version that works with a custom URL as the list textfile? Then I can just have a script that gets the IP of every server on HQ, and bypassing the server list check script at the same time (which causes most of the lag).
I make this website.

If you can setup the URL I can see what I can do... I don't see why I cant make it work out.

For some reason when I did a ping sweep, it mentioned that my server was online even though it is currently offline? Still pretty sweet.

Do you have any other kind of servers running on your IP? I only did a general scan, not a specific port... I'll have to do that when I re-up the program.

Nope, my YS server is the only server I run on my computer. Its not really a huge deal.

Either way I'll make sure it checks the port along with IP.

So I totaled my computer about 2 weeks ago. Just finally got it working... It seems that was fixed already so I won't be starting this up again soon unless the list goes down.
