Lor, look for the September 2015 topic. It's there. The theme is something like Heavys with friends.

Why the change to "online only?"

The idea is to promote an incentive to do something online on a server. People always have screenshots of online sessions but sometimes they don't get posted. Now there's a reason to get online and take screenies.

Ahh ok, makes sense. Althought for this one I would have preferred an offline option also (read: replays on my hard drive   )

This month's theme is merely a startup to get things going and allow people to see how this works. Of course future theme ideas are always encouraged and there will be new themes. This just needed to be restarted because it has been successful before.

I thought I should post this here, since it is directly related:

Special Announcement: Wednesday, September 23, at 8:00 PM Central Time, YSCAS will be holding a special Heavy Appreciation Event. We will encourage everyone to join, take off in a large airliner, form up, and fly from Sea-Tac to LAX together. Screenshots will be encouraged! Let’s get out there and take the screenshots.

Just over 22 hours from the time of this post.

Poll is up for September contest. Sorry I'm late on that but planning for next month's theme is underway. Shoot me your ideas people!

BTW, we're sticking with the online thing for a little while to see how it goes with a different, more achievable theme (hopefully without unflyable lag).

There doesn't seem to be an option to vote.
EDIT: I mean there is nothing to select.

Fixed. I didn't realize locking wouldn't allow voting either.

Will this apply to just the new theme or the old one as well?

It will apply to the new theme. I do not use the old one so I can't really vouch for that one. That may be possible but I'll leave that one for Eric since he knows more about that.

You can have images larger than your display size . . .

P.S.: I have few screens, is it correct resize and modify them in GIMP?

I am looking to update the old theme too so yes, the background image can carry over.
I make this website.

You can resize images with just about any image editing program. You can use GIMP or pretty much anything else.

In Any image editing program go to the image editting "menu" and select the "resize" or "resize canvas" there you should have different options on how to change the size of the overall image like by percentage or amount of pixels on both horizontal and vertical planes.

Thanks, but my question mostly was about is it must be unedited screenshot or maybe also shopped.
