Golden rule of ATC: if in doubt, ask.

Second golden rule of ATC: keep off the airwaves unless you need to be there.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

We prefer everyone at least know how headings and altitudes work (I'm assuming everyone does). Other than that nothing too technical.

Just wanted to say thank you to VNAF for organizing the fly-in (and any others who played a role in helping out). I think it was great fun (even though I couldn't be there after a few hours of controlling) and aside from a few minor glitches, a great success. Looking forward to next weekend!

Thank you and I'd like to thank everyone who volunteered to do controlling today and all the people who participated! It was really a lot of fun even though I was very busy. I hope to do it again at another air show and learned a lot of valuable lessons on how to do it from today. Hopefully we can finally bring Civi and Aero YS into each other and one day find a way to include Combat too :)

I really enjoyed yesterday's excursion, and enjoyed my first day back into the YSFlight Community. I'd also like to say, being inspired by the Blue Dolphins, that I am in the works of revamping the Grun Squadron and also going to begin a Aerobatics arm for the squadron.

Self-Promotion aside, I'll be keeping my eyes on the Server list to see if there will be any new activity before Airfest, as I would love to try to keep myself in the community for a while.

And finally, a big thanks to the ATC Team. It's been a while since I did ATC on YS, So they were a big help with getting me my bearings again.

I didn't get a chance to fly because I was having to do things around the house, but I did manage to watch and listen for a little while, and that alone was fun for me. :)
