You know, I never really got what the display and flight lines are. Does anyone mind explaining?Scarecrow wrote:Display line is runway 30/12. Basically the primary runway is your flightline.

Re: [FEB 25] YS NAF El Centro Air Show

For anyone wanting to add a second demonstration and wants it to be military, please do so. (Just fill out the form).
We were just limiting it to one military and one aerobatic display per person but not to many were signing up for aerobatic performances, so we are letting a second military demonstration. Still keeping it at 2 per person, though.

Yes, I always knew where El Centro's Flight paths were, but I mean the definition of "Display Line" and "Flight Line."Scarecrow wrote:Does this help?

The showline/display line is blue in the picture, basically over the main runway. This is for most of the performers.Airbourne wrote:Yes, I always knew where El Centro's Flight paths were, but I mean the definition of "Display Line" and "Flight Line."Scarecrow wrote:Does this help?

The lighter "old" runway (that has "U.S. NAVY" on it) is the flightline/ramp where the aircraft will be parked. This will also be used as a showline for smaller aircraft (propeller driven, etc.) for aerobatic routines - OR - high speed level passes by the jets.

Sounds great!! Sign it up!Crazypilot wrote:Can't wait for the show either! And how does an Albatross D.5 demo sound?
To the one who signed up the F-16 "flyby" that is supposed to be 20 minutes long (usernamezaib) - "YSFHQ" does not work as a download link. I need an actual link or it will not be added.
