PERFORMER REGISTRATION
Those wishing to fly at the 2012 edition of the event as a performer will need to complete the following form. A separate entry is required for each performing display. Solo displays/acro demonstrations (single-ship) are limited to (1) one per person. Formation or multi-ship displays are unlimited and highly encouraged. If you would like to perform an additional solo routine (such as a flyby, novelty act, etc.), please let us know your intentions in the "additional information" section of the form. Are you having trouble with the form? E-mail us - [email protected]

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

MASS FLIGHT DETAILS
As a new part of the show, we are featuring community mass flights this year. We will invite all spectators and pilots to help take part in the flights. We will have a hot air balloon rally over the tarmac during intermission, a jet "race" with 3 laps around the airport (left pattern) in L-39's, a re-enactment of the Doolittle Raid with a mass flight of B-25's, and World War I era "furball". No weapons will be used or exchanged during these flights. White smoke only during any mass flights. There shall be no other flight of other aircraft besides what is approved or scheduled by YSAS staff. Failure of such may result in a kick from the server.

VIEWING INFORMATION
The air show flying will begin approximately 11:00AM CST or 12:00PM EST (5:00PM GMT) and will run for around 4 hours. Teamspeak 3 will be provided for professional air show narration and music. While being on Teamspeak is not required, it is highly recommended to be familar with changes, information, and the show's itenerary. You can download the Teamspeak 3 client at http://www.teamspeak.com. Unless flying as part of an act or performer, all attendees will remain in the observer mode feature of YSFlight for the duration of the show. F9 is our show center viewpoint and F10 from that position requires a great view. Also various end of runway F6 points are featured as the aircraft fly the showline. As a friendly note, Shift+F9 will toggle through the airplanes in the air at the particular time.

YSFLIGHT SERVER IP: 74.133.80.13
TEAMSPEAK SERVER IP: YSFSERVER.COM:9999

The air show will be using the most up-to-date network console for the server. This is usually compatible with any YSFlight versions you may have but may feature some minor defects. We recommend the newest version currently available at http://www.ysflight.com.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The primary show-line for maneuvers will take place over RW08L/RW08R, the closest (smaller) runway to the crowd-area. Most smaller aircraft can land on this strip, however larger aircraft such as cargo and fighter aircraft may be better suited for RW26L/RW26R, the larger runway. Please be aware and cautious of the two blue buses on white tarp which signifies show center. These may be easily hit by the wingspans of larger aircraft. There shall be no takeoffs or landings on the ramp/tarmac parking areas unless pre-arranged with the show coordinators. The primary runways for takeoffs includes RW26L and RW08R for shorter taxi-distance times. RW26R and RW08L are also available.

Looking forward to this.

EDIT: HAVA will be there if TB1 approves of it.

HAVA is about three days away from completing it's first year as a VA. We've got a specially painted 777 just for that and it will be performing soon here.

Having the triple seven and two Viper's on the wing for a flyby would be excellent. Make sure TB1 or yourself or another representative fills out the form for registration and I'll be sure to have it added to the lineup.

Current performers added to the air show schedule as of 8/31/12.

- B-25 Flybys - Doolittle Raid / Mass Flight
- L-39 Albatros Jet "Race" / Mass Flight
- World War I "Furball" / Mass Flight
- Hot Air Balloon Rally (Intermission)[/listbox]

Will do Scarecrow. All though it's more than just a couple of flyby's this time. I'll send you the routine as well so you know exactly what we're gonna do next. (when I make it lol)

One thing HAVA. Please for god's sake stop making those insane 50G turns and dives and crazy crap. It was too much at AirFest but I let it slide due to the situation but I don't suggest doing it here.

Could I just say I would like to fly the F/A-18F Super Hornet or F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team (not sure yet...) and provide a link?

What 50G turns? The Demo ended at the split and there was no tight turning before that.

EDIT: Oh you mean TB1 and Varren...No idea why they did that. It was not part of the routine.

MOAR EDIT: @Kilo11: Yeah, that 777 does look nice, doesn't it? DragonHeart painted it. He painted the WindHover F-16 too on which the HAVA F-16 was based on.

That is dependent on a variety of things right now regarding particular acts. We are looking into doing a Legacy Flight (Navy) on Saturday and the Heritage Flight (Air Force) with the PACAF F-16 team on Sunday.

I thought this airshow needed a British Bomber, so I choose the Vulcan for a Saturday only performance.
