Oh, and good luck to all the performers in the airshow. And to ll who will be attending, have fun and enjoy it
-----------------------------------------EDIT---------------------------------------------
Well, I was being a bit pessimistic. Looks like it is possible for me to attend, much more watch the airshow. So, hope to see you there.

It has been changed and probably will be more before the show.Scarecrow wrote:Is this the official schedule? It still appears to be the same as how when it was registered.

Re: PP [DEC 8] YSFlight Royal International Air Tattoo (UKAA
A number of people have pulled out last minute including Flake who was doing music. Obviously everyone has commitments and one of UKAA's is to put on the best airshow we can. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the show for one week. All timings will remain the same.
If you cannot make next week for any reason please PM me and I'll take you off the schedule. If I am not contacted I will assume your demo will still be happening next week.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused but I'd rather have UKAA's best airshow yet one week delayed rather than a half-baked show when it was supposed to happen.
See you all next week!

We can play the realism card and just say the show was scrubbed today due to weather. UK weather sucks typically anyway

I had to cancel it with little time to spare because someone I was relying on pulled out with no notice and I couldn't do the show without him. Once again I am very very sorry for any inconvenience caused. Running the show for you guys was part of my birthday weekend and I am as frustrated as you all are.Scarecrow wrote:Quite unhappy that this call was made the day of and not anytime prior. While I completely understand your decision and it makes sense, calling the day of really isn't the greatest deal for anyone involved. I personally know of an individual who had to change airline flights especially for this show - thankfully some odd act of God worked it out where it came out not costing anything...

And how many times have you cancelled shows due to lag last minute? Or postponed a show THREE times?Scarecrow wrote:Quite unhappy that this call was made the day of and not anytime prior.
It was out of his control, give him a break would you?
I got called in to work as I was needed last minute, and I am not prepared to turn down work just to play a video game.
Not everything in life goes according to plan.
Send me a PM if you wish to discuss further, I've got all day...

Also: Why don't we instead move to Saturday? a day more suitable for everyone...
