Reykjavik, Iceland!!!

This race will take place in front of one of the most beautiful and peaceful towns in the world! Visitors can expect the utmost natural beauty and will have the ability to take on some of natures greatest adventures in this small, diverse landscape. Join us, as we bring the YSAR Series to the capital of Iceland on our 2nd stop of 2015! Pilots, prepare your skills and see if you can become the master of the Reykjavik course!

Any and all pilots are welcome to join! This is a beginner's course to introduce new contenders to the style of YSAR. The course will consist of two laps with a Chicane and 2 high-G turns. It is encouraged that pilots register prior to the event by posting with the below registration format. There will be no prizes for this event besides being placed in an overall standing for this year. The series will end with the next race in December (yet to be determined) and will refresh for 2016!

Do the gates have a required attitude to pass through them, like Redbull does it?
You'll also probably want to boost the aircraft strength to several hundred to avoid dying on pylon strikes.

I usually fly through them at 35-50 feet, but passing 250 feet is a disqualification this round since it's 2 flat laps. Reguarding the pylons, the planes on VNAF's server should already have nearly 999 strength. ;)

Attitude, not altitude. In Redbull, red gates require a knife edge pass, blue and start/finish require a horizontal pass.

Oh, read it wrong. We're changing it up a bit but the chicane definetely requires knife edge passes.

We wish to make the races as equal and fair to each other, including the same dat files. I am unsure if I'm confortable with this aircraft being in the races unless the dat file is similar to that of CEP's Extras. :)

I'm willing to make a separate dat file with the necessary changes to bring it in line. I'll have it ready ASAP.

Using the same dat file as the CEP extras would be ideal. With only one week to go, verifying differences in dats is not a priority.

I don't have time to join the race today anyway, but after installing those addons into a fresh copy of YSF from 2013, it crashes on startup every time, as well as having a lot of missing ground objects from TF58 and a missing plane from Major.

Actually, after getting rid of the palm tree and house from the pylon .lst, it works fine.

Hey guys - Sorry I am inactive but this sounds like a load of fun! :D
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!
