Instrument Pannel is always Dark when HUD is off

I have some problems when I want to fly in the night... The instrument Pannel is completely dark, I can only activate the lights when I also activate the HUD, but I don't want to use the HUD because it puts too much information over the instrument pannel

Instrument pannel when HUD is off... the lights can be activated by toggling velocity indicator on/off

The lights can only appear when: Velocity indicator on/off is toggled, and when HUD is activated

Once I turn off the HUD the instrument Pannel gets dark agai

What version of YSFlight are you using? What airplane is this?

2018 D3d. OGL1 and 2 render instrument panel light just fine. I wonder if Soji got halfway through adding instrument panel lights and then released.

At this point it's a bug (or a feature, depending on your attitude), and the only way to get around it is to run a different executable or move to the 2015 version (which is recommended. 2018 is rather unstable and has poorer performance than 2015 for very little gain in visual and functional changes).

My version is 2018 11 24

The Plane is an A320 but that do happens in other planes as well

YSFlight has a few different versions Direct3d (D3D), Open GL (OGL1,2), etc. All of these should be installed when you installed 20181124.

Instrument panels have been in the game for a long time. At least back to 2009, if not earlier than that.

I know it sounds like a silly recommendation but most of us still use 2015 with the aerobatics and some civvy guys still using 2012. Although due to the netcode they use they are also the most reliable and least buggy. I'd recommend trying them out as well to see as to which you personally prefer
