Post by IM NOT A DUCK » Sat Jun 22, 2013 9:24 am

Hey guys I am trying to decide if i want to play the stable or BETA version of YSFlight. I am really interested in what you guys have to say about it. (And what is the difference between fsmaino and fsmaino2???)

Personally, i'd have them both in my hard disk. Depending on the test version number, BETA Ys will almost certainly have noticeable bugs, though the very fact of it having the word TEST on it should not make this fact surprising at all. I guess the factor that determines if I'm playing the test version is the presence of bugs in the program itself. The less noticeable and pronounced the bugs are, the more likely I'll be able to enjoy YSflight as it is.

Also, it helps to keep the main STABLE version of Ys, you know, 'cause of aishows and server joining.

The STABLE is best for now. I like the BETA's new features though, but when loading large amounts of aircraft, it crashes. =P
