Searching for map.

Post by NavyGator » Fri Sep 04, 2015 10:52 pm

I seem to recall having read that the Nasca Plains were already done as a scenery. But when I searched the site, it didn't show up. Anybody know where I can find it?

You may very well be right Gunny.
However, that also means that it is
now available again for re-creating
by someone wanting to do something
memorable.

I just took a look at the Nazca Plain on google map.You can't tell shiyt from shinola from there views. Not enough good resolution there to make anything. And that is really weird because I can see the centerlines of the Nazca airport from FL20 clear as day.I think Google is masking the area. :x

I guess they could be. But then again, those lines are a little bit faint. I've seen some images of the plains depicting the individual pictoglyphs(?)
Some seem enhanced, so I wonder. But, then again, maybe it will just take a bit more work than usual. I can't do it myself at this point. My Internet access is only via my phone, so I'm a little bit shackled. Maybe we can get one of our new cartographers to take on the challenge ...
