Aerial combat
I'd want know if YSFHQ organizes events for military aircraft... if in particular servers and days, or sessions... CAn you explain to me how this works?
Are there programmed sessions for who wants fighting?
Thanks a lot

Re: Aerial combat
A military event will normally be announced by an event topic with a date. All of the information you will need to join the event is located in the topic, including dates times and server IP.
You're also very welcome to turn up in a military aircraft to civillian events, although weapons may be restricted at some events.

Re: Aerial combat
Combat aviation is in a slight slump at the moment, but is still present. Unless it is planned in advanced, most of the recent combat is more spontaneous while on servers. For example, one person challenging another to a dogfight.
Check out the Military YS section of the forum. I believe that there recently was a monthly training session started in October and it may be happening again in November or December.
Seeing as you are new to the forum, you might also consider making an introduction post in the Personal Messages section and talk a little bit about yourself and your likes (YSF and IRL aviation). That may produce some more feedback about the recent happenings in YSFlight Military aviation if you specifically mention that.
You can also look into the squadrons that are around. The 171st and 49th seem to always be around.

Re: Aerial combat

Decaff_42, that's right, i'm new. In fact i asked, about two days ago to iceman (the main manager) some informations through PM without receive any answer.
So, how can i, like also said by you i should, write a post presenting me? And where?
Anyway,... i waited some notifications to advise me about, in this case, your answer, but any notific is arrived to me.
I ask you... how notifications work and what do they arrive for?
Then, about fighting... I've got that not always ysfhq organizes events to do so... So, if one wants, like me, can organize a combat? Creating a post with all the parameters specified, like ip server, time,...........
Then yet...
Are there ITALIAN SQUADRONS? And high detailed planes (so i like) with the italian flag? I'm italian and i'd want some planes representing me during the activity.
Then, is there an available person i can add in friends with who i can communicate and who can help me, given that i'm new?
Thanks so much, MACINTOSH

Re: Aerial combat
Iceman, while being the owner of the site, is inactive and hardly pops around. Hence sending him PMs would be quite useless. You could direct your PMs to more active members such as decaff.MACINTOSH wrote:In fact i asked, about two days ago to iceman (the main manager) some informations through PM without receive any answer.

When someone posts on a topic you have participated in/created, or when someone quotes you (like now) or thanks you.MACINTOSH wrote:Anyway,... i waited some notifications to advise me about, in this case, your answer, but any notific is arrived to me.

Nope. Squadrons are more international around here, due to the lack of concentration of members in one specific area.MACINTOSH wrote:Then yet...

As for Italian aircraft, I am not too sure, but there are a few decent Rafales here and there. You can search for them using this: http://ysfinder.net.

YSFinder isn't in English...
I cannot use it...

If you wanted aircraft from this site go to: http://ysfinder.net/addonlist.php
This is the same URL as given by NightRaven except that it takes you directly to the list!

Enjoy!
