[Question] When are A.I's going to improve?

Post by NuggetCrusher » Mon Mar 21, 2016 5:44 pm

I have been playing the game for a few years time. But each time an update comes I expect the A.I to be better. Like when you command your wingmen to Land , Refuel , Takeoff without colliding with each other I surely hope that the developers can improve them or at least have them an early warning system it's just annoying lel. Also when you have A.I helicopters when they takeoff they just shake and hover.

When are they going to improve? I'm hoping one day I can do better with them.

Not in the near future.

YS is developed by one person only, Soji Yamakawa. This pretty much explains the slow rate of development of the simulator. Furthermore, being closed-source means that only he is capable of modifying the program. Soji does tend to be slow and fairly erratic in terms of updates (ie adding features instead of fixing bugs) so an improvement in AI seems unlikely. The only improvement I've seen are the new commands to tighten or loosen formation in flight.

If you want to fly with other aircraft, maybe you can try online flight ;)
