Long flights in YSFlight?

Hello all!

How would one go about making a long flight in YSFlight, e.g. Las Palmas in the Canary Island pack to London? Do I just have a general heading that I fly toward and YSFlight loads the map when the time comes or will that leave me flying forever?

Welcome tweakdeveloper.You will be flying forever.Since there is no working world map in YS.

Oh OK, so how would one accomplish this feat then, or is it impossible?

Well from the Canary's to London You would have to make a map in the Ys scenery editor to fly it.As I don't think there is one currently available.

Or you can "simulate" one by taking off from Las Palmas up to cruising altitude, flying at cruisibng altitude for a bit, then exiting the flight and saving that replay.Then make a new flight and start in the airstart positions around Heathrow and land. Then save that replay and you'll have two replays to either watch whenever you like or make a video.

Well pat has started working on an Atlantic Ocean map so if you wait long enough hell probably end up including london and canary islands.

But if you like long flight we do have the pacific rim map. Largest map in YS as far as I know. From Tokyo to LAX will probably take around 5-6 hours.

I have? Well, I started a map of the Caribbeans, and the Northern Caribbean map will be released in the next few weeks. The entire Caribbean map should be finished by 2020. The Atlantic map will hopefully be finished by 2030.

Pacific Rim exists, but you probably need a good system to not get angry at it. Otherwise it is better to stick with Guam to SoCal 2015, which is actually bigger and covers most of the same area plus the southwest US. I also made a USA48 map of the US.

Megadodo is also a pretty good candidate for huge flights.
