Ground and Scenery Makes Files bad

Post by Red Tiger Pilot » Thu Apr 20, 2017 1:54 am

Foreword: i am a mac user.
Ok, whenever I install ANY ground and/or scenery( like mods), the same problem appears.
I start YS flight after, and it says
Load Error: ground\UI4053.dat
Then the game crashes. Aircraft mods work fine though. Any clues on how to fix?

All files that end in ".lst" CANNOT contain a "\" instead they need to be replaced with a "/". Simply open the .lst files with textedit and do a find-replace all. Save and you will be good to go.

Yeah, *NIX (and since it shares a similar kernel) and Mac OS is weird with slashes, you'll need to change them in the LSTs like decaff said.
