Dedicated server question

What is needed to host a dedicated server like what kind of computer specs and other things. Currently looking to host a possible 24/7 server for aerobatics and such. Also to use it for community events

A desktop for about $400-$600 right out of the store can handle the job. The real thing to worry about is having a good internet connection and the proper ports opened on your machine and gateway router.

Well i have verizon quantum.

Problem is i suck at port forwarding

Port forwarding on most wireless routers is easy given they use a Graphical Interface. This topic gives you the best lesson in port forwarding, so start here if anything.
