YS Flight Log Tool Development
Help Needed!
I'm working on making 2 additional reports that go into much greater detail about combat and civilian flying. I would like your feedback on what to include / exclude from my plan as outlined below.
Combat Report
Summary Section:
A table of users with the following information: the number of sorties they flew, A2A kills, A2G kills, Flight Time, Fuel Burned, # each weapon type fired, max g, min g, max speed, max mach
Breakdown section:
Each sortie by a pilot gets the following breakdown
- Table of A2A kills, A2G kills, Flight Time, Fuel Burned, # each weapon type fired, , max g, min g, max speed, max mach
- List of Planes and ground objects they killed and with what.
- Plot of altitude, speed, g for the flight.
Virtual Airline
I'm still working on this, but I'm looking to have a landing and takeoff analysis along with a flight event log. What are some data points for these three sections that you think would be desirable?

Personally, I can be interested to use the landing and takeoff analysis. For Virtual Airlines it is a cool feature.

Re: YS Flight Log Tool Development
Yes, speed and vertical speed at touchdown. It can be useful to see if it is a good or hard landing, and why. Less important but interesting: remaining fuel or aircraft weight at touchdown. Is there a specific analysis for landings that you'd be interested in seeing?
I discover today your Flight log tool, I will test it (YS Flight Log Version 2.1.0). For airliner, I think you already developed the other needed analysis (Flight Time, Distance, Max Altitude, Avg Speed, Fuel burned,…).
If you need beta testers, I can take time for it. But tomorrow I go on holidays hunting in mountain for two weeks. No computers… So, I cannot test before three weeks…
Thanks for your work on this useful tool.
