What's the polycount on the whole of it?

I have no idea, but there are 24,400 vertices so far (not including the cockpit instrument panels)

That's about 6100 faces if all of them are quads. You do have a polycount on the upper part of the screen.

Hmmm something like this?

25,000+

Wait. How can you have more faces than vertices?

Dunno, but I don't question it. It works in YSF, so I'm happy.
Worked on the landing lights and windows today. The lights are styled after CHF's 777s, and the windows are styled after Takety's 737s.
I know that these are not the exact number of windows, spacing, etc. but They are pretty close, so I'm going to leave it like this for now.

Added the cabin lights. I still need to work on the animations for it, but I've gotten it to work a bit better now.
Still working on the DAT File Maker tool, Seems like it is coming along well, and I've got most of the coding done. Now I have to test it like there is no tomorrow.

Decided to help out on the HQP:GAC Pack. Making a bunch of blanks for other ppl to paint. I'm basically blanking the 171st aircraft, but this one I like for some reason...colors or something like that.
I also have the TA-4 and Buccaneer done.

FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO TURN OFF THE GRID FOR SCREENSHOTS!!!!!

I say that the 727 is worth more, there is already enough people capable of blanking the CVW-171 aircraft

Got lights, antenna, and a general blank paint job done...Here's how it looks now.
Some minor dnm touch up needed for the lights, and I should be ready to rock and roll with getting the other versions made (fright and wingtips)

Okay! Woke up this morning and did some flight tests. Couple of things I've found.
1. Using the thrust vector CLA, I have the rear stairs, cargo and passenger door animated. The rear door swings normally, but the other two go real slow and then super fast. Not quite sure why that is.
2. I definitely need a better weight setup. I can't take off until 160 ktas at full power and full flaps...
3. I need to fiddle with the animation of the cabin lights. Gotta get them to not be on during deployment.
Couple of Filesizes:
dnm = 3.1 mb
cockpit.srf = 1.2 mb

Just a suggestion but you may have to tweek the speeds in the .dat file for variable geometry wings.
And 160 ktas is about right for a fully loaded V2.Maybe decrease your full weight load.

Here's the -100 version! I was able to get some accurate measurements and work this. Guess my organization of the dnm file payed off.
I still have some flight testing to go, but I'm pretty much done modeling the 727 family. I've got the -100, -200, -200F , and a -200 with winglets.

Wow, that is one awesome looking jet decaff!! If you can, on the -100 the #2 engine inlet is
oval in shape, just something to modify if you can.
I can't wait to fly this once it is released, I hope to include it in one my videos!

Doth thou meanest something like this? (thanks for reminding me). I recall you mentioning this to Skyline a while back.
Here's a quick shot of the FedEx 727-200F model.
