You're proving yourself to be quite capable at dishing out Malaysian aircraft, especially repaints. Just remember to fix some shading issues and I'll gladly fly the MAS 747.

And as a fellow Malaysian, thank you for putting our country's aircraft into the YSFlight theater.

Major props to you for the effort on the modifications to the 380-800. If I may suggest a few things since you're trying to make it like the actual 380, disable the thrust reverser doors on the outboard engines (#1 and #4 engines). The real 380 only has thrust reversers on the two inboard engines (#2 and #3) to prevent damage to the edges of runways and grassy areas outside the runways at airports. It also prevents Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from getting launched into the engines. And if you can, modify the tail a little? Here are a few shots to help you out:

EK 388

QR 388

Diagram with some dimensions

Most notably I am talking about the tail. On the Real Pack 380, the tail is not as slender as it is on the real-world 380 (as you can tell from the photos). But this is just a suggestion and I understand if it is a bit difficult to mod it. I do like your Malaysia Airlines Pack!

Did you make that cockpit yourself? I'm just wondering because it looks similar to the SEA Pack cockpits.

Either way, I'm really impressed with how well you are doing on this first project of yours!

Actually yes...I modified a little bit from YSFlight SEA A320 and A380 is also almost quite same with A320...I think I can't elaborate it more because I afraid it uses too many bytes on it...the raw YSFlightSEA A320 cockpit is around 225 thousands and I reduced it around 150 thousands or below....

I wouldn't worry much about the file size unless you were pushing about 750 kilobytes.

thanks for the tips....
Im also more preffered for built in cockpit in the dnm rather than srf

Yeah I totally hear you. With a moderate detail level cockpit like yours, there isn't much in the line of non-essential components for when someone looks in the window during flight. Most of the cockpit is actually the walls and be basic mesh. In that case, it is preferential to have the cockpit inside the dnm file so that you can actually see something when you look in the window.

For my aircraft I leave the basic cockpit inside the dnm, but all the instruments and high-detail stuff, I pull out into the cockpit SRF to save on rendering.

my first miscellaneous item in YSFlight already done!
the idea came from a early 70's movie that I watched 2-3 weeks ago
the film title is Laksamana Do Re Mi or Admirals Do Re and Mi in english....
here's the movie
[BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]
WARNING!!!even though it has english subtitle, the song part didn't have it and I've feel it maybe did'nt funny in English....
but it really funny in Malay language...

-- Sun Nov 09, 2014 1:03 am --

I use cep's X-35 dat file for the STOVL but still gonna make some editing....

-- Sun Nov 09, 2014 11:11 pm --

now,I'm in a megaproject to made the Malaysian Peninsular and Singapore...
so far for this time I've already finished make the mountain ranges like the Titiwangsa mountain range,Benom mountain range,Tahan mountain range,East Coast mountain range(three of the mountain range which is the Benom,Tahan and East Coast mountain range made in a single Elevation grid),Bintang mountain range,Kedah-Singgora mountain range and Nakawan mountain range...
I hope Patrick would be add this map for YSCAS map rotation list when I finished it....
some to put ground object on elevation grid???Is it using the move to terrain elevation or else??
what Is the map offers when it's done?
-variety of airports from the commercial/civil airport to air force base
-Langkawi Island which is you can made any airfest you made with(famous from the annual LIMA[Langkawi International Maritime and Airshow)*seriously need someone that know to made the YSFlight server that changed it's IP...
-magnificent mountain ranges
-extend flying range rather than Selangor map
-RMAF Butterworth AFB,perfect for exercise session between RMAF and YSFlight's famous squadron

-- Mon Nov 10, 2014 12:28 am --

back to progress on the A380

I have added the landing lights....same as the real ones,it's in rectangle shape....
I've also have made an A380 for MRTT(Multi Role Tanker Transporter)version that has 3 drogue and a receptacle/boom....
will be publish in 9-10 hours more cuz it's already night here......

-- Tue Nov 18, 2014 6:26 pm --

Finally,the NASA's Boeing 747SP SOFIA already done.....
here's the topic link

-- Sat Nov 29, 2014 1:32 am --

some more observation on Scenery Editor
maybe Patrick didn't know about this...
from my observations above,I know that the ground objects can be simulate in our maps with criteria which is=
1.must have RectRegion ID no. 4(Airport Area)
2.have controllable ground object such as fuel truck
3.set the movable ground object to have flag no.7 (can be a user object)
