waspe414 wrote:*Does anyone know what angle measure this is? It divides a full 360° circle to 65536 parts. So far I think it's only unique to YS.
Rotation angles are internally saved with short integers themselves stored with 2 octets (2^16 = 65536) because Captain YS judged 65536 values were enough for angles.

I've decided to do a remake TF58's (originally GAC) Blue Angels from a low def to a high def model. Here is my plan:
Ailerons
Elevators
Flaps
Canopy In/Out
Extra Parts [i.e.: panels, antenna's.....]
Redo Landing Gear
Make Cockpit
"FLY NAVY 100 YEARS"
Nozzles Military Power/Afterburner
Afterburner
Redo .dat
Vapor
Special Effects 8-)
Tailhook

XXXXX = Started
XXXXX = Didn't Start

As a Former YSBA, I am positive he knows. And has a few more goodies in his install that no-one else does. :)

It's too bad the YS thunderbirds don't exist anymore. :oops: All though it would've been nice watching the YSTB use GRESP F-16s. Very huge nice work to you, Airbourne! :)

*calls in the fire brigade*

Got yer back, Flake.

In regards to the topic, I'm pretty sure they're no Grenium Thunderbirds yet. But God! If it was true, DAT level of DETAIL and THOSE PANEL LINES...

Lag fest...Lag fest everywhere....

I wouldn't even care about the lag in that case! I've been doing some offline T-birds formation flying and it would be a super nice upgrade :D

Well, in case you haven't noticed, Airbourne's been working on other things at the moment so unless he says otherwise, I doubt this project is on his mind. Move along.

I'd hate to revive a 10 year old topic but many things have happened since my last post here.

Funny to think that I was 16 and a junior in high school when I last posted in this thread. Now I'm 26 going on 27 and an airline pilot (in real life of course) flying the Embraer ERJ-175.

Oh ya, and here's the Edge 540 I'm working on. Currently sitting at 15,000 verts, but after I clean it up, add some details, a cockpit, separate the ailerons/elevators/rudder, it should come down....a little
