Re: Airbourne Studios
If God had wanted the army to fly, he would have made the sky brown.
If God meant man to fly, He'd have given us bigger wallets.
If God had meant for men to fly he would have made their bones hollow and not their heads.

Re: Airbourne Studios
Oh definitely yes. I do hope we can make a virtual air and water show as I'll be going back this year. Good to see the return of scenery editing again. I always love new places to fly more than new planes. But that's probably just me .Airbourne wrote:thanks for the feedback guys!

Re: Airbourne Studios
Rotate your item however many degrees you want in any direction (if you want it straight up and down, rotate it positive 90° horizontally). Save and open the new .fld in Notepad. You will get something at the end looking like this:
This partPC2
FIL "00000000.pc2"
POS -84.90 0.00 132.20 16384.00 0.00 -0.00
ID 0
END
means it is at -84.9 and 132.2 horizontally, and 0.0 vertically.POS -84.90 0.00 132.20 16384.00 0.00 -0.00
Also, it is rotated 16384.0 units* (or 90°) on a horizontal (yaw) plane, 0 on a pitch plane, and 0 on a roll plane.
You want to move the value from the yaw to the pitch, so the last three numbers are 0.00 16384.00 0.00.
Save the Notepad file, check with Scenedit that it's correct, then open your airport and import the new map, not the .pc2, into it. You may need to change the vertical position so it starts on the ground.
Depending how you made the lines, they may only show from one side, and you may have to redo this for another side.
*Does anyone know what angle measure this is? It divides a full 360° circle to 65536 parts. So far I think it's only unique to YS.

Re: Airbourne Studios
If you write a tute explaining how to do this, I'll literally send you a cookie in the mail.waspe414 wrote:Scenedit will not rotate things vertically. This can be accomplished via Notepad though. I highly suggest exporting your fence as its own .pc2 file, creating a new, empty map, and importing the .pc2 to 0 0 0 in it. This makes the following much easier.
