i am using this method to make a decal of a type of handwritten Regional... for AIR INDIA Regional......

do you think this is acceptable for YSF? considering the lag that could be created by the vertices?

Personally I think you're going to have a lot of extra vertices by using that method, but truth be told I have never seen this method used. Essentially you are skipping the extruding portion of decal making and just looking to cut your way though all the faces. In some places this may create more vertices, but I think you'd have to try another method to get a good comparison. Perhaps just with the R to compare.

In the mostly straight sections, you are going to add a lot more vertices. This method looks more inflexible/need more clean up.

BUT
whatever works for you is how you should do things. There is more than 1 way to skin a potato. This is innovative and shows quite a bit of thought.

i was goingg to give an update :mrgreen: but had to go out for a while... :)

well, it requires quite a bit of time :)
i deleted that and went on with the usual procedure... :)

by the way, i guess, if it was subdivided multi 4 or 5, cutting and doing it would have been a possible more easy job.....

but yeah, it would still require some clean up :)

A small update:
The YSFSA Skunkworks has been rapidly constructing a lot of airports the past week, it is looking at a December-January release of its next major scenery project. :D

YSFSA is constantly updating and making and renovating works whenever a computer access is acquired. :D :lol:

YSFSA is also happy to receive add-on repainting suggestion. :) But please don't expect a reply as we will available only till coming Saturday (15 October 2016). If your PM has been read but not replied please expect a December-January release of requested add-on :D

As always, YSFSA is happy to recieve any kind of suggestions and error fixing issues in its sceneries and aircrafts released till date. :)
these fixes shall be reflected in the next probable December-January release :)

update on the Dornier Do-228. Had to make it back from scratch as i could not retrive older model.

anyway, good news is, animations are left out, but the bad news is that blender seems to have some sort of problem here. where do i get this show_objects.py file? i used to work on DNM Viewer script in my previous laptop. But this just crops up, i dont know why.....

I'd try to re-install the blender scripts and see if that helps.
