PHNL-PHTO
Flight:FA028
et15.ath.cx
Aircraft flown:B757-200
Duration: 30 Mins
Any remarks:Flight plan was IFR to Hilo via runway heading,LANAI vor,KONA vor, then direct HILO vor where I spotted the airport and ran a vis app into runway 8. Cruising altitude was FL300. Very fun flight over all.

Re: PHNL-PHTO
You know in January aplane got a little to close to mountain in pakistan and the usual happenedDavideV wrote:Nice plan, but watch out because there's the Bradshaw Airport which is a restricted area. If you want to go to Hilo you must approach it northside. So you can go heading 95 at the Lanai VOR until you don't cross the radial 145 of the Hilo VOR, then flight on it toward the runway, but you should go through a circling approach. You can also pass through the Upolu Point VOR, anyway pay attention because there's a minimum safe altitude of 25,000 feet... you know, airplanes are not that into high mountains...
