I hope that wasn't Sergeant Ghost. If he was, he has a heck of a lot to explain. We are supposed to protect the FAVA fleet! Since I'm not completely sure, I am afraid that I have to put him on inactive for now...

In the video if you watch it long enough you'll see someone fired a missile at riley's 757.

Be glad it wasn't one of the new advanced air to air missiles, because it would have come back around to attack again, as long as his nose was on you.
They say that he feeds upon the tears of newbs, and that he spent an entire day feeding an effigy of Ricm into a desk fan. All we know is, he's called Animal.

Very nice landing on there i really commend the pilot for that! its a shame then you get the military pilots that all they do is fire missiles at civies. This is what FA VA have to go through daily and i really commend our pilots for still remaining calm when these noobs shoot our aircraft.

This kind of horsing around has got to stop!
Unfortunately it is vary difficult to get these Noobies to not do this since all they want is a sitting duck to shoot at cause they really do not have any skill at all.
Most certified squadrons Will have VA escorts for just this scenario. Its just a shame that it is needed. This is the reason I only fly on the 171st server it has a dedicated staff and pilots that try to keep this to a minimum.

Mmm yes i agree with you there. Yes we are creating a escort division because of these events as its coming up into the season of noobs. The thing is having a escort takes the freedom out of being a Fast Airways VA airline pilot because in real life its very rare that a aircraft escorts the charter flight. Its such a shame.

What I think is needed is a completely civilian server that disables all weapons on the server so no one is tempted to take a freebie.
After all there are lots of military servers to go around if you want to DF And I don't know of any civil servers only.Just my opinion.

^Back in the day of VAs I used to host an unofficial server once in a while with everything completely disabled-no missiles, guns, ground fire or air-to-air. And collision was turned off as well. Flying online for civ/comm was just good fun with that set up. Maybe a server like that a certain number of days in the week and ATC provided via TS, and that would be a treat.

It would be very nice.

but in cases of attacks by inexperienced newbies, perhaps VA pilots should practise some evasive manoeuvres.

Evasive maneuvers may not work. Since a 757 for example, is not built for harsh maneuvering. Also the 757 and other civilian aircraft has a large turning circle radius. Also Civilian pilots may not want to learn these maneuverer's. My recommendation would be to make a map of the major air routes over Hawaii. Then on days dedicated to civilian flying, we could have the length of these major air routes patrolled by fighter aircraft. Just my input ;)
