It shows a bit of ground warfare, and Close Air Support (CAS). It was a very fun game, it shows how interesting ysflight can be.

Requires Project Falcon 1.0 and 2ch maps.
I can see this working well for a Turbofan style busy airport though.
EDIT: Just found out you can add messages into unflown missions, like this replay, but as you fly. Very cool in-flight combat situation update potential.
EDIT2: Just found the visibility control for missions...

Re: YS Flight Replays
"Tailstrike" text is shown the exact same way.
I've used these two techniques in YSRAAF missions.
I just need more help in creating dogfight parameters.

Re: YS Flight Replays
I really think you should catalogue this and make something of a mini tute or reference post out of this in the tutorials section. That would be much appreciated.waspe414 wrote:A proof of concept that I threw together in about an hour, so forgive the crappy flying and terrible dialogue.

That's exactly how I found it.Flake wrote:"Tailstrike" text is shown the exact same way.
Will do.Iceman wrote:I really think you should catalogue this and make something of a mini tute or reference post out of this in the tutorials section.
EDIT: Actually, if you can move this to Tutorials and name it something more descriptive, I'll format it proplerly. That way we don't have three copies of the same thing.

To run these replays, just unzip the folder, and then copy and paste the .yfs files into your folder where you have other replays saved.
Maps you will need: My map pack (TF CivCoMP), Stykkisholmur's Arizona map.
Aircraft: Too many to list, (a.k.a. I'm lazy ), as long as you have most of the major ones (Taskforce58's aircraft pack, Kurosaki's repaints, YGL Pack, Neil's repaints, you should have no problems running the replays. If you need the Alitalia pack which was released by someone a long time back (who, I have no idea at this point) and the DHL 757-200, please le me know and I'll be happy to send you a link here. The other ones can be easily found here on HQ or at YSU.

Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting
Pittsburgh is known to be a very safe city. Squirrel Hill is one of the safest neighborhood in Pittsburgh. Nonetheless, 11 people were shot and killed in the horrific terror attack last Saturday. The synagogue where the gunman opened fire is less than 10 minutes drive from here. Saturday morning I had an alert from Carnegie Mellon regarding the heavy police activity near the intersection of Wilkins avenue Shady avenue, where the synagogue is located. My wife also got an alert from Carnegie Mellon and Chatham university since she also works for Chatham. Still we had no idea what was going on. We turned the TV on and in about five or ten minutes, the local TV station reported a gunman in the synagogue.
I honestly was worried about this type of terror attack. The current atomosphere, fear, anxiety, and anger, could have been a trigger for such a massacre, especially immediately before the mid-term election.
There was no direct friend or someone who has a direct connection to my friend among victims. However, I recognized Mr. Cecil Rosenthal and David Rosenthal brothers. I saw them very often when I was living in Squirrel Hill. Turned out they were living in the same apartment building where we were living. I didn't notice they were living in the same building because it was a quite large aparment complex. But, I saw them very often around there.
I have rendered a Star of David in YSFLIGHT with Israeli Kfir fighter jets. The flight-record file is available from here.
