Central Mediterranean Islands - Extended V1.0
An expansion of Central Mediterranean Islands, in conjunction with Neocon (formerly Patrick31337)

Hey everyone,

Central Mediterranean Islands - Extended is now ready for download and installation.

Installation is simple - put sceTF_CMI-E.lst in your scenery folder and then drag and drop the TF_CMI-E folder into your user folder.

This is a "hybrid" scenery since there are two real-world islands included now - Malta and Pantelleria.
-----------------------------------------------------

Ground objects required for this map to work properly:

- PMNV ground objects pack (Over 80% of all ground objects are from this pack)
- TF 58's ground objects (need his map pack)
- Airbourne's ground objects pack
- KZS ground objects (I believe it's the S and M packs you need from this page)
- HotelFox's ground objects pack

Credits to all the creators of the original ground objects whose packs are listed above.

Also a thank you to Patrick for allowing me full access to modifications of both, Malta and Pantelleria islands. The idea to include his work in this map was originally his and it was my pleasure to do so. Both islands (including the island of Gozo to the north of Malta) are originally his work.

-----------------------------------------------------
Some facts about Central Mediterranean Islands - Extended:

- There are now a total of 267 start positions in this scenery mostly as a result of the two new airports, Malta International and Pantelleria Airport. This number includes ground-based positions as well. Hopefully you find a start position you like everytime!
- Expanded the General Cargo (GC) Apron at MXA by five stands for a total of 9 GC parking positions
- Updated the islands of Malta and Pantelleria with new topograhical colours and features (new features only on Pantelleria)
- Updated both, Malta (MLA) and Pantelleria (PNL) Airports with new colours, markings where required and other updates such as J-lines for aircraft parking and airfield lighting
- Re-did the Malta Airport terminal and added an ATC building to reflect the actual layout
- Added some simple elevation grid and ground object buildings on Pantelleria
- Added night lights on the Abel Jets HQ building rooftop helipad
- Replaced default VOR at Linbury City International Airport with Patrick's VOR-DME

I had several screenshots included in the download but since the file size got a bit too large, I have included only the pilot manual and island guides.

The download has been tested and seems to be working fine. Let me know if you have any problems.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

These new sceneries are not getting much recognition. 84 views is quiet small compared to what older sceneries recieved. It is quiet depressing :?

84 views in less than 24 hours is actually pretty good, considering time zones. ;)
