[INCIDENT] B777-300er Singapore Airlines catch fire at Changi

Post by Richard Vo » Mon Jun 27, 2016 6:04 am

A SIA b777-300er depart from Changi to Milan. After 2 hours of flight, the plane was forced to turn back to Changi because of engine oil warning message. No injuries report.

The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

:o  boy! Hell! Real scary!

This guy/girl did not even get out of the plane! https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/ ... cy-landing (Wasn't the plane evacuated? Or the scare was present that fire would enter the pure oxygen atmosphere cabin? :? Edit: Like whatever happened in the below mentioned incidents)

This thing on first sight reminded me of: Saudia 163, British Airtours 28M and Air Canada flight 797 in an instant!
Please note that I do not mean any kind of offence in any of my posts

I found it surprising the passengers stayed as calm as the videos implied - the flight crew handled that very well.
