Flight times?

Post by pngmangi » Tue Jul 19, 2016 8:16 am

So I've been wondering for a while, how long does it take to fly from Honolulu to Midway on the extended Hawaii map? And also, how do you know what heading to fly, especially if the airport isn't listed, or it's too far away? I'm sure you can just get a general estimate from the map before you start your flight, but that isn't exactly the most precise and efficient thing...

1. Use the navigation menu
2. At between 1.5 & 3 hours

IN the HAVA 737, the trip from Hilo to Midway takes me 2h26 minutes from takeoff to landing +/- 5-10 minutes for varying landing profiles.

Patrick N made a video about how to use the navigation menu in YSFLight.

NavPlanner might help, too.

I also suggest NavPlanner just in case there are no Nav. ground object in the map you are flying on.It has some short coming's but it beats flying blind. ;)

you might be able to try something with wine, as it is a .exe file.
