Re: Aircraft you spotted today
Holland got two F35s recently, and today it did am introductory flight over the country (which it took about an hour and a half to cross from north to south to west, back north and east again, traversing entire country of the netherlands at leisurely pace at 1200ft)
My home is near Woensdrecht AFB and after picking up the kids I saw it over my home when pulling up in the courtyard.
(Still ugly btw, but its cool to see what the hype is about )

Re: Aircraft you spotted today
A quick visit to Flightradar24 determined that it was this:
Not something that generally gets down this neck of the woods very often. They do make quite a noise when you live in an 'acoustic' valley, even when flying at 30,000 ft as this one was.

Re: Aircraft you spotted today
It was overcast so only visible aircraft was a low and slow UH-1PH. I heard the usual heavies above the cloud deck but was unable to get a visual.
