"New" Kid on the Block

Post by Stephen »

Hello to all!
I've been a member here for a while, but have never taken the time to introduce myself. So I figured it's about time. While I don't have much time to be extremely active, (due to jobs and other real life time consumers), I certainly do enjoy watching what goes on around here and every once in a while giving my two cents worth.

As far as me, I like aircraft and flying (no duh), music, graphic design, the woods, photography, West Virginia mountains, etc. I hope I can contribute to the fun and and help build the community (maybe with even a few aircraft addons I have been tinkering around with ;) ). So while you might not see a whole lot of me, now when I pop up in the future you'll have a better idea who is talking.
Happy flying to all!
Peace!
-Stephen

Welcome Stephen It may interest you to know that we have a West Virginia map with numerous large and small airports. And all real places in WV.And I should know because I made it and live there myself.Unfortunatly it is so large that it does not play well with the servers.Oh and lots of mountains too.

Man I feel it. My time is more valuable to me lately than currency - give me 5 hours of peace over 5 hours of wage anytime. Unfortunately 5 hours of time doesn't pay the rent and put food on the table. The carrot at the end of the stick of my degree seems so far away...

Welcome to HQ. I hope you and I can both find the time for YS. Have you played online yet? Online play in YS is awesome
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

I spent the first half of my life in Monroe county (Lewisburg was our nearest "big" town). Then my family re-located to Hampshire county (Romney area). By the way, that map is awesome! I love flying over places I've lived. Gap Mills, WV (where I used to live) is right on a military training route. So fighter jets screaming over was a common thing. That's what I miss the most and I've always wanted to re-create that area in YSF and fly the route in an F-15. :)
