Offline Wingman Issue

I was trying to fly a formation offline using the wingman function. Then, when I communicated with the wingman, the wingman dispensed flares, shot me, and shot missiles. I didn't command them, so is there a fix to this problem?
I would appreciate any advice.

I have never heard of this happening.
What version of YSFlight were you using, and what were the aircraft involved?

It may be an issue with inputs not being masked properly. Wingmen in formation will fire whatever weapon you fire, if they have it. If those commands are bound to numbers, 4 for flare for example, part of the code may improperly be reading them as weapon inputs rather than UI inputs. I've never had an issue like that, and wasn't able to replicate it in five minutes in the 2015 version.
It may also be confusion about the state if the input menu rather than a bug.

Joke aside - Do stock maps do it or is it Addon maps or what? Mind giving us a list of maps to try with?

Also - have you tried running a stock install and testing it?

What plane were you flying and on which map? Perhaps we can try to replicate the exact issue that you are having to determine if it is a bug or something is wrong with your ys install

Hmmm... It doesn't happen anymore... I wonder why...
Oh, for the aircraft and map, I used a stock f-15 on the stock airstrike challenge. Most stock aircraft is affected.
