Local Multiplayer Question

Post by Rsome10 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 8:00 pm

Hi,

I was wondering, is there an easier way to set-up a local multiplayer server between 2 computers on the same wireless connection without port forwarding, etc?

Thanks,

You don't need to port forward for a LAN party.

All you need is the server's Local IP Address.
This can be obtained by using Win-R on windows and typing CMD, pressing enter and then typing ipconfig.
That'll grab your IP address for that device. other computers on the network can then use that address to connect locally.

Okay, thanks!

I'll try it out.

I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!
