Textures

Hi guys, I've got one question about textures. Does SRF file contain information about them, or just poly paint?

Vehicles and ground objects (.srf and .dnm files) do not use textures in YS Flight. Textures can be used in rectangles and elevation grids in a YSF scenery made with the newer scenery editors.

To "paint" an aircraft, you must cut the decals or differently-colored areas out of the polygons from which the aircraft is made and paint those polygon faces.

Ok, thanks for answer. I'll try my best :D One more thing, I don't want to make new topic, so I just ask here... What's the typical polycount for mid-range model?

I've seen good "mid-range" models with as little as 500 total polys.

I would say 2000 to 3000 for a semi-decent looking aircraft though.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!
